  • Vision :

    To visualize a society free from poverty especially on the part of disadvantaged children and women, to unshackle them from deprived conditions, and ensure them with equality so that they can enjoy their rights and privileges, gain a respectable social status and lead a life of dignity.

  • The Foundation:

    Anantha Jyothi Social Organisation was incepted by a dedicated group of like-minded, socially inclined individuals committed to work for the rights of the under-privileged. Formally registered under the Indian Trust Act in 2002 as Anantha Jyothi Social Organisation. it was established to serve the rural, semi-urban poor and the deprived poor in Chennai, especially the surrounding villages of Red Hills and sub-urban & urban areas. The focus is on empowering women through the formation of Self Help Groups and to improve the quality of life for children who come from extremely deplorable conditions. The program center is located at the heart of the city at guindy, 12 Kilometers from Chennai Central Railway station and the Airport.

  • Legal Status:

    The Anantha Jyothi Social Organisation is registered under the Indian Trust Act, 1882 as well as under section 12AA & 80(G) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 by the Government of India. It is also registered under FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) act of 1976 that entitles it to receive foreign grants
